This streaming release is a high-resolution digital rip and re-mastering of the source recordings of the original Hub Music cassette release of 1987.

The recordings on this release are among the very first manifestations of the Hub's work, and include two tracks (2,3) from the first performances under the name "the Hub" of the duo of John Bischoff and Tim Perkis; two tracks (1,5) from the "pre-Hub" network trio Zero Chat Chat, with Bischoff, Perkis and Mark Trayle; and the first recording ('Hub x 6') of the full complement of the original 6 Hub members.
